Abstract

Panic symptoms associated with temporal lobe epilepsy can be difficult to distinguish from many cases of panic attacks that are part of anxiety disorders. We report the case of a patient with panic attacks difficult to control, which were considered in the differential diagnosis of these entities. We describe specific clinical features that allow diagnosis approach.
